Did you achieve your goal? How did it make you feel?: WOW! What started as a contest, became a challenge, now is a life journey for me.My main goal was to be able to walk and have energy. I have surpassed anything I could\’ve imagined! Coming into to this at 169lbs, I’ve dropped 38lbs, went from a size 8 to a size 4, lost countless inches hence why I’m not in my original picture clothes, they just FALL off of me now. When this began, I could barely complete a 1/2 mile,I am walking 5 miles a day up to 5 days a week and I’ve become addicted to that! Still under doctors care for my back I’m not cleared for full workouts yet. My husband and I came into this together to support one another and change our health, with that being said if the money is won , it is our time to pay it forward to the CplBrandonHardy scholarship fund( a fallen Marine)Our son who is currently serving in the USMC was a recipient this year and can’t think of a better choice. I feel amazing at this point, I am a winner already…NOTHING can compare to having your grown children tell you that you inspire them and they are proud of you!! THANK you IDLife for changing our lives <3
What small steps did you take to be successful this month?: As for small steps, I decided to go big or go home. I will be the 1st to tell you I changed everything! Cooking where we are from was fat and carbs. NOT anymore! I am a great cook and changed so many things from pasta to making my own noodles out of veggies, cutting red meats to max of 2 times a week, loading up on chicken, fish and seafood. Don\’t misunderstand me, I do still have my days, I just learned portion control is what its about, I’ve also learned that somethings I use to eat are not agreeing with me anymore. I am committed to a daily regimen starting with my shake in the mornings. I have been become very faithful with energy, hydrate and lean as well. THANK YOU AGAIN !!!
