Did you achieve your goal? How did it make you feel?: I improved my 5K PR (set 14 months ago) by 45 sec! (When you’ve been running for a long time, that’s a big deal!) I can now do 13 more push ups in 60 sec. I lost 2 pounds and definitely gained some muscle… My clothes fit my more loosely, love it! I can run hill repeats longer and harder with less soreness afterword. I’m sleeping much better,Hallelujah! I met all my goals!
What small steps did you take to be successful this month?: I did strength training 3x/week for 40 min and varied my exercises more than usual. I did my three usual runs per week (long run, tempo run and interval run or hill repeats) and I was able to push harder on the long runs and hill repeats especially. I used hydrate 2x/ day and had an IDLife vegan protein shake after every workout, yum! I faithfully took my IDNutrition vitamins. I added a regular nighttime schedule to wind down and used sleep strips every night. I’ve been sleeping much better!!!
