Did you achieve your goal? How did it make you feel?: This has been the best month I’ve had in years. Living with celiac disease and multiple food allergies my system is a bit of a mess sometimes. Prior to this month, I let too many toxins slip i to my diet and I hurt, had no energy and my digestive system was a mess. To top it off I was experiencing chronic joint pain in my knees and back from surgeries that would not go away. With consistency with nutrition, shakes, hydration and adequate sleep I was able to get my body into a much more consistent routine and I feel better than I have in a really long time. Not only is my celiac and food allergies so much better, my digestive pain and discomfort is gone, and I’m so thankful for that. After this month I have less joint pain from inflammation and way more energy. That in itself is a WIN! While i didn’t have a huge change in numbers on the scale, I’m not retaining fluid or bloating from poor digestion and regardless of how different I look, i feel SO much better. I’m so thankful! I’m beyond excited to see where the next few months take me.
What small steps did you take to be successful this month?: This month I committed to do the experience to a T.. to keep my diet clean, within reason for special occasions and allow myself time built into my busy day for me to be able to exercise and take care of myself. I meal planned ahead of time and stuck with the shake for breakfast to keep things simpler to reduce he chance of me skipping breakfast! I also committed to checking the Facebook experience group daily to see others checking in and motivating and that was such an excellent tool!
